Love Feasts
For a long time, I thought they were waiting to “eat” the Lord’s Supper. I was wrong. It actually refers to the broader meal that was eaten before the Lord’s Supper.
It's Not About Performance
We have all been programmed to be performers. — Grades in school are based on performance. Badges in scouts are based on performance. Positions in sports are based on performance.
Helping Needy Non-Christians
We all agree that individual Christians are to help those in need, regardless of their spiritual status. We are to “do good to everyone” Galatians 6:10.
Rich In Grace
The sacrifice of Christ did not begin on the cross, or in the garden, or in the manger. It began in heaven when He laid aside His glory and consented to come to earth.
Jailhouse Rock
The earthquake was not designed to deliver the prisoners, it was designed to deliver the jailer. That was the reason God made the “jailhouse rock!”
Christmas and Easter
Though Christmas and Easter are commonly regarded as the two most important holidays of Christianity, they have been a source of controversy among members of the Lord’s church.
The Lord's Supper
Note that the Communion is never called the Lord's Supper in the New Testament. Neither is the Lord's Supper called the Communion.
Jesus the Lamb
When mankind fell into sin and was in danger of eternal death, Jesus the Lamb knew just what to do.

Ants in Your Pants
Ants are diligent. They work hard without having to be overseen. They do not procrastinate or piddle around. They are astute, energized, and motivated to do their tasks.
Your Legacy
We all need to realize that the decisions we make today will determine how we’re remembered tomorrow.
Just Say "No"
“Just Say No” would have been an appropriate slogan for the Pharisees in the first century. These men were strict Jews who thought very highly of themselves and were constantly finding fault in others.
The Agape
Perhaps the most overlooked aspect of worship services in the early church was a meal they shared together called the Agape, or love feast.
Shepherds in the Church
Leaders are essential. Every football team needs coaches, every business needs managers, every school needs administrators, and every flock of God needs shepherds.
The Resurrection
Because Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, Christians believe they have a home just beyond the cemetery and therefore have no need to fear it.
Desensitizing Society
God is not neutral or indifferent when it comes to homosexuality. It is an issue that He addresses very directly in His Word.
The Bible
The Bible has had an enormous impact on the world. It has influenced cultures and shaped nations.
Mary & Roman Catholicism
“Emma” has been the most popular girl name for the last three years. However, that streak pales in comparison to “Mary,” which held the top spot for 30 consecutive years from 1917-1946.
Church Clothes
What is the proper attire for worship? That question has caused a great deal of strife among the Lord’s people.
Dinosaurs
What does the Bible say about dinosaurs? Were they real creatures? If so, when did they go extinct? Did disprove the Genesis account of creation?
Satan: On the Prowl
Satan is a spirit being who opposes God and man. He "prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone so devour" (1 Peter5:8).
Psalm 23
Psalm 23 has been referred to as "the psalm of psalms," "an idyll of great beauty," and "a literary gem unsurpassed."
Healing Place
The church is to be the true "healing place." This is where the sad, sick, sinful, and struggling come to find Jesus.
When the Perfect Comes
Paul said that the miraculous gifts would cease when "the perfect comes" (1 Corinthians 13:10, ESV). Many people see the word "perfect" and immediately think of Jesus. They would assume that the gifts were to last until Jesus comes. Are they correct?
Alcohol and the Bible
The Bible speaks of alcohol both favorably and unfavorably. It says that that alcohol may be consumed in moderation, but it becomes sinful when abused.
Simon the Magician
When persecution comes against the church in Jerusalem intensified to the point of murder, many of the disciples scattered elsewhere. They did not leave empty-handed, however. They took the gospel with them and ended up increasing the boarders of the kingdom.
Dancing
Clarification is crucial. Too often we tend to paint a broad rush and speak in generalities that are not exactly accurate, and as a result we slight God's Word and lose credibility with people. For instance, we have probably all heard a preacher or Bible class teacher say, "dancing is sinful." Is that true?
